The current St. Joseph Society was formed in 1972 to promote the spiritual and community well-being of the men of the parish. It is an outgrowth of the original St. Joseph Society formed in 1900. The Society encourages all men of the parish to -- "come and see"-- (St. John, 1:39).
Work and activities of the Society include - the Mikulski Scholarship fund, providing funds for the St. Joseph School basketball program each year, sponsors the annual parish-wide communion breakfast, as well as projects such as the construction of the new outdoor creche, renovation the church hall, and much more.
Members are also regularly involved in men's Bible & Faith study groups, the annual CT Catholic Men’s Conference held in Hartford, and various spiritual retreats.
Meetings are held the 3rd Tuesday of the month, - all college age and older men are welcome to attend.
