St. Joseph Church was festively decorated for Christ's birth.  Beautiful hymns were sung at all Masses, especially at the midnight Mass led by Mark Roszczewski and the choir.  The altar servers were recognized for their service and presented cross necklaces blessed by Father Kryzysztof and Father Gabriel.  This year, the altar servers made ornaments to decorate the tree on 'St. Joseph's side'  and the Children of Mary decorated the tree on 'Mary's side' by the navity.

"And it came to pass, when the angels went away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, 'Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing that is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us."  Luke 2:15

Robert W.:  The birth of Jesus is important to me because the Savior that everyone was talking about was born.

Tyler B.:  Jesus’ birth means holy lives.

Matt B.:  To me, Jesus’ birth is a time of rejoicing because it signals that God wanted to save us from sin and did this by sending his only Son to save us.

Nathan B.:  Jesus’ birth reminds of a symbol of hope and peace for the world to enjoy and live with.

Mark J.:  Christ’s birth means we have a savior who is willing to die for our sins.

Alex E.:  It means that our sins can be forgiven.

Luke R.:  It is a reassurance of hope, and provides a time each year for unity with all of our neighbors.

Tom D.:  A time for families to come together and be in the presence of God.

Nathan W.:  I'm glad Jesus was born because He gave up his life for us.  He gave us land to live on, water and food.  He gave us life in this world and for eternity.

Larry B.:  It means that it not only started our faith but it helps us believe in God.

Tyler V.:  It means to me the beginning of our faith.

Nicholas A.:  Jesus’ birth means happiness and joy.  He is our creator and this is when he came to life.

Chris P.:  It means Jesus’ birth and the day God sent His Son to come help us.  And spending time with family.

Martha W.:  Jesus’ birth means that there will be peace on earth and that the Savior that everyone was talking about was born, plus love on earth.

Brandon E.:  Jesus’ birth is important to me because then I can go to heaven and there will be peace and love.

Jacques M.:  Jesus means to me that one day I will be able to go up to heaven.   He taught us how to live a good Catholic life.

Dan B.:  Jesus came down from Heaven in the form of a man to save us from sin.  He loves us so much; He was willing to die so that we may be saved.  If Jesus never came down from Heaven, we would be lost, so I am thankful for that.

Kevin P.:  Jesus’ birth means peace and love to share with people around me!

Gabrielle M.:  Jesus’ birth means we celebrate that there will be peace and love on earth.

David W.:  Christmas means hope and a new beginning.  This was the day Jesus Christ was born to redeem us all from our sins and build the Church.
